I give you some piece of advice. unless you deem it very fun to play farming builds and other one-trick ponies, just play the game and hope to win whatever you want in the zaishen lottery.

i only went solo to an explorable if i was intending to farm for something specific.

but regarding your "heroes/henchies stealing drops", i think you are a bit mistaken, as others have already pointed out.
